VMC A/S Company Profile

VMC A/S is a trading company with 11 employees. We supply solutions and components for telecom, datacom, fibre optics and security. VMC operates as agent, Master Distributer or Master VAR and has exclusive representation for several known brands like ADC Krone. Apart from the representations, we have some own production of taylor made solutions and assemblies to our customers. Our primary customers are the telecoms and broadband providers, whole salers, installers, system integrators and OEM. We sell and distribute our solutions in Denmark, Greenland, Faroe Islands and Iceland. We focus on the customer and to deliver on outstanding service. Our portfolio is constantly developing in respect of the technological development and with the needs of our customers.
 

VMC ’s working area can be divided into nine different product areas which are:

Copper:
Passive and active components for tele- and datanetwork such as LSA-PLUS connection system from KRONE GmbH, Baluns, coax connectors etc. www.krone.com

Fibre:
Passive and active components for telecom- and data networks such as Patch-cables/Pigtails, Patchpanels, Media converters, Switches, taps, MultiMUX, Fiberoptic Link Extenders and Fusionsplices.

Test Equipment:
Testinstruments for copper and fibre network, ADSL/ISDN testequipment, TDR/OTDR, Pair tracers, LAN Cabletesters, Test telephones, Multimeters, Clampmeters and Continuity testers.

Security:
Solutions for surveillance

Transmission:
Wireless solutions – radiolink equipment, data transmission via optical light, WLAN and Bluetooth solutions. ISDN cards and controllers. Network security. ISDN NT’s, xDSL modems, routers, bridges etc.
 
Cabinets & Racks:
Cabinets for indoor and outdoor installations. 19” and ETSI Racks, Optical Distribution Frames (ODF) and DDF´s.

Installation Conduits:
Halogenfree installation conduits. Galvanized steel conduits, Painted steel conduits and aluminium conduits.
 
Components for Telecom and data networks:
Accessories for tele, data and ISDN. Varius types of tools and everything in telecom- and data accessories. IT, computer accessories and CPE products for consumers, for “Home networking”.
 
Complete solutions – focus FTTx
Customer specified solutions for copper, fibre and coax. A special focus area is the fiber to the home market segment, where VMC has developed a complete portfolio. VMC can also work as consultants to help with the design of FTTx installations.
 
History
VMC elteknik a/s was founded  in 1995 and originally a daughter company of the swedish company VMC elteknik AB. In 2001 both companies were bought by the Dutch company TKH Group N.V .
